On July 6th, 2023, three new Arnold Rotary Club members were inducted by former District Governor Diane Finch. The ladies inducted were Allison Goodenow, Val Daly, and Karen Hough.
Mrs. Finch gave a short talk to inspire the ladies. She reminded everyone that when Arnold was first chartered in June 4, 1929, women were not allowed in the club. It wasn’t until 1989 when Jane Hornung was inducted that women were club members. The second woman to join was Tammy Koubek and Diane said she was the third.
Later Diane went on to become the second district governor. She was also a five-time RYLA camp director and a two-time camp senior counselor. Congratulations ladies.
