Badgley Named Rookie of the Year

Becky Dailey, Ron and Nancy Cool, Nicole Badgley, Amanda Badgley, and Echo attend the Rotary District 5630 Annual Conference in Broken Bow on April 28-29.  Approximately 180 Rotarians from Western Nebraska and spouses attended.

Arnold Rotarians were pleasently surprised when it was announced that they had received the “Rotary Club of the Year award.  There are 31 Rotary Club in the District with 1,000 Rotarians.  NEw Rotarian Nicole Badgley was awarded “Newcomer of the Year” for her work in starting at very active high school Interact Club with 28 new members.

“I am so proud of Arnold I could just bust!” said Rotary Governor Deb McCaslin.  “This is absolutely  club of leaders and doers.  It’s a small club, and they make progress and they make change for others.  During the Rotary Club Impact Tour, I was blown away with the number and extent of projects that this club has completed.  This club exemplifies Rotary’s motto of Service Above Self.”
