Becky Dailey, Ron and Nancy Cool, Nicole Badgley, Amanda Badgley and Echo Pelster attended the Rotary District 5630 annual conference in Broken Bow on April 28-29.  Approximately 180 Rotarians from Western Nebraska and their spouses attended.

Arnold Rotarians were pleasantly surprised when it was announced that they had received the “Rotary Club of the Year” award.  There are 31 Rotary Clubs in the District with 1,000 Rotarians.  New Rotarian Nicole Badgley was awarded “Newcomer of the Year” for her work in starting a very active high school Interact Club with 28 new members.

“I am so proud of the Arnold I could just bust!” said Rotary District Governor Deb McCaslin.  “This is absolutely a club of leaders and doers.  It’s a small club, and they make progress and they make change for others.  During the Rotary Club Impact Tour, I was blown away with the number of and extent of projects that this club has completed.  This club exemplifies Rotary’s motto of Service Above Self.”
